Wedding band in Atlanta:
a Motown and soul revue built to dance

A wedding band in Atlanta has to move a room that came to dance. The Velvelettes bring a staged Motown and soul revue to Atlanta: three voices in vintage dress, live horns, choreography and an MC, with packages from $3,400 to $12,500.

We have set up in a Buckhead ballroom, a converted Westside ironworks and a garden venue near Piedmont Park. Atlanta is usually a fly date from Detroit; we arrive the day before while the production truck drives down ahead, so load-in starts on schedule whatever the airlines do.

Peak Atlanta Saturdays, spring and fall, book 12 to 18 months out. Summer bookings are welcome too; we plan covered stages and indoor fallbacks with your planner so an afternoon storm never decides your evening.

How a Atlanta date runs

Travel

Atlanta is a fly date. The band arrives the day before while the production truck drives down ahead of us.

Setup

90-minute setup, 30-minute soundcheck, two 20A circuits and about 16 by 12 ft of floor for The Revue.

Good to know

Summer evenings bring heat and pop-up storms; for terraces and gardens we ask for a covered stage and agree an indoor fallback.

Before you ask

Atlanta questions, answered

Is there a travel fee to Atlanta?

Yes. Atlanta sits beyond our 150-mile no-fee radius, so travel is quoted per date, flights and truck included, and appears as one clear line when you check availability.

Do you know Atlanta venues?

We advance every room with your venue contact and request the floor plan and power spec ahead of the date. For outdoor sites we also agree the weather fallback in writing.

Do you play both weddings and corporate events in Atlanta?

Yes. Atlanta books the revue for wedding receptions and for corporate galas alike; COI and Net-30 invoicing are routine here.
