A wedding band in Las Vegas has to hold a room that has seen every show in town, and this one does. The Velvelettes bring a staged Motown and soul revue to the valley: three voices, live horns, choreography and an MC, with transparent packages from $3,400 to $12,500 and no house-band markup.
One weekend it is a Strip resort ballroom with a loading dock, a stagehand call and a union steward, the next an off-Strip venue in Summerlin or Henderson, or a desert site out past the edge of the lights. Las Vegas is a fly date from Detroit. We arrive the day before, and the stage plot, insurance certificate and power spec reach your venue and its production office in the advance; big-property ballrooms and independent rooms run on very different rules, and we ask which before we quote the labor.
Las Vegas books year-round, but the comfortable-weather windows, spring and fall, take the peak Saturdays 12 to 18 months out, and convention weeks lock hotel space early. Outdoor and pool-deck sites run amplified-sound curfews, and Strip properties bill in-house stagehands by the hour, so we build the set times and the crew call backward from whichever number is strictest on your event order.

Travel
Las Vegas is a fly date. The band arrives the day before; the stage plot, COI and power spec reach your venue and its production office in the advance.
Setup
90-minute setup, 30-minute soundcheck, two 20A circuits and about 16 by 12 ft of floor for The Revue.
Good to know
Strip resorts require in-house stagehands and a production advance; pool decks and desert sites run amplified-sound curfews. We plan the crew call and set times around both.

Las Vegas questions, answered
Is there a travel fee to Las Vegas?
Yes. Las Vegas is beyond our 150-mile no-fee radius, so travel is quoted per date, airfare and freight included, and shown plainly when you check availability.
Can you work with a Strip resort's in-house production and union crew?
Every time. Large properties require you to hire their stagehands and file a production advance, which we handle directly with the venue: stage plot, input list, power and a load-in schedule that fits their dock and steward. It adds a labor line to the quote, and we flag it up front so nothing is a surprise.
Do you play both weddings and corporate events in Las Vegas?
Yes. With more convention and incentive business than almost any US city, Las Vegas books us for wedding receptions and corporate and conference events in roughly equal measure, under one contract and the same COI process.
