The Velvelettes are a Motown and soul revue for hire across Orlando and Central Florida, for weddings, resort receptions and convention-week events. Three voices, live horns, choreography and an MC, from $3,400 plus travel.
Orlando is really two booking markets sharing an airport. One is weddings at resort ballrooms and lakeside estates in Winter Park and Windermere. The other is the convention business, where an association gala or a client party needs a show that lands with a room of 400 people from thirty states. The same revue works for both, but the run sheets look nothing alike, so we build them separately.
Convention-center and large resort dates come with production requirements worth flagging early: in-house AV that must be used, a stagehand call, and a load-in window measured in a specific hour rather than an afternoon. We advance all of it with your event manager. For outdoor and poolside receptions, humidity and afternoon storms are the planning constraint, and the answer is a covered stage confirmed in the contract rather than a tent decided on the day.

Setup
90-minute setup, 30-minute soundcheck, two dedicated 20A circuits and about 16 by 12 ft of floor for The Revue. Resort and convention rooms may require an in-house AV call, which we advance for you.
Good to know
Outdoor and poolside receptions need a covered stage. Humidity and afternoon storms are a real risk to instruments and electronics here.

How much does a wedding band cost in Orlando?
Our packages start at $3,400 plus a single travel line, and the full staged Revue is $6,900 plus travel. Central Florida live wedding bands generally run $3,000 to $12,000, with resort ballroom dates at the higher end because of production and in-house AV requirements. Do you play resort and convention events in Orlando?
Yes, regularly. Association galas, client parties and convention-week receptions are a large share of our Florida calendar. We work to your event manager's production schedule, carry the insurance certificate the venue will ask for, and can shorten or extend sets around an awards program.
Can you play an outdoor wedding in Florida heat?
Yes, with shade and a plan. We need a covered stage, and instruments and the PA cannot sit in direct sun. For afternoon ceremonies in July and August we ask for a shaded position and a water station, and we build a rain contingency into the run sheet with your planner.
